December 27 drove more smartness to Noida as the Authority on has launched an online delivery of services for its 16,300 institutional, industrial and commercial properties. The Authority Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Deepak Agarwal, has also started an online application for a current open-ended industrial scheme. With the initiative of online facility, the allottees will now, not have to visit the Authority to get their works done as they will be able to get them done from any corner of the world. The main aim of this initiative is to ensure speed, effectiveness and transparency.
According to officials, the services will be fully functional from January 2, 2017. Mr. Agarwal said, “In the second phase of the project, we will include housing properties. This service will be functional from February 2, 2017. The third and fourth phase will see the group housing properties by April 2, 2017 and residential properties by June 2, 2017 online, respectively. Within the next five months, we plan to have all of Noida’s properties online. The aim is to achieve minimum interface with the allottees but provide them with maximum transparency besides doing away with red tape.”
According to him, the said online facility will include a host of services like permissions for mortgage, mutation of land, transfer memorandum, completion and functional certificates, lease rent deposit, water bill payments, etc., which are no doubt going to make allottees’ life easier. He further said that “The services can be accessed from Noida’s website noidaauthorityonline.com. Each allottee will be provided with a unique user ID and password. Slowly we plan to go digital and to do away with manual applications and processes besides providing a single window access to information and services.”
Mr. Agarwal said that with the launch of this online service, approvals for building plans and interface with every allottee of the city, along with the ease of doing business in Noida, will become quite faster and straightforward. He further added, “With the industrial application online service, investors and entrepreneurs will be able to view all available land for industries online. While payments will be done online, the portal will also allow electronic communication. In future GIS based plot search and visibility will be added. We are also working on Online Building Map Approval Process System (OBMAPS), which is at an advance stage of completion. OBMAPS will speed up the process of building plan compliance check, in accordance with building bye-laws.”
